SBS Raises the Bar in Substation Design with New Vice President, Substations at the Helm
LITTLETON, Colo., February 1, 2024 — Spatial Business Systems, LLC (“SBS” or the “Company”), a leader in providing Intelligent Design Solutions for utility and network infrastructure, is thrilled to welcome Kevin Whyte as the new Vice President, Substations.
Joining SBS with over 15 years of experience in the electric utility sector, Kevin’s expertise is set to enhance the Company’s focus on substation innovation and design. In his most recent capacity as Director of System Engineering at Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative, Kevin made significant contributions to the engineering and strategic planning for critical infrastructure, particularly serving data centers and government agencies. His comprehensive background encompasses engineering design, project management, customer service, and strategic development, positioning him as a key player in advancing SBS’s substation division forward.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Western Michigan University and an MBA from the University of Florida, credentials that underline his thorough grasp of both the technical and business aspects of utility infrastructure.
