Senior Account Executive
Senior Account Executive
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive who has a proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities but also penetrate our existing client base, seeking new opportunities, understanding their challenges, creating unique strategies per account, and matching their needs with SBS solutions. This role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service and value to our customers.
You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining long-term customer relationships. You will leverage relationships with key stakeholders such as Solutions Engineers, Product Owners, Delivery and Development teams as required. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales.
The successful candidate will work remotely servicing North America.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media to grow book of business
- Set up meetings with potential clients to complete discovery process to understand pain points and business goals
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services, collaborating with the greater sales and product team
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections with your customers

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager or relevant role
- Knowledgeable in Utility IOU CAPEX/OPEX, Transmission and Distribution for Electric and Gas
- Knowledgeable in AEC solutions that support Utility Transmission and Distribution projects
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Hands-on experience with CRM (Salesforce) software is a plus

Compensation:

You will be responsible for working on the services delivery Team specializing in integrations, specifically with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) applications as part of the project delivery life cycle.

About the Role
As a Senior Integrations Technical Consultants at SBS, you’ll be a representative of the UDH – EAM group as part of the delivery of Software Implementations (AutoCAD based Design & integrations with ERP / EAM & GIS applications) solutions primarily for Utility, telecommunications, and government clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. You’ll be involved in key Projects ranging in scale from multiple medium-to-large projects, lead cross-functional teams, and build strong client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to grow into broader leadership responsibilities within the organization and working with the SBS Partner network as you demonstrate project execution excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 + Yrs. Minimum of Professional Consulting Services and/or Software Development experience
- Experience with the following programing languages: C# .NET, Java
- Experience working with Enterprise Asset Management software and/or middleware software applications – including but not limited to: SAP, Maximo
- Database experience (Oracle, SQL)
- Client facing Projects (Implementation of SBS software to meet the Client’s Requirements); will have a Consulting background
- Ability to run & manage meetings

Customer Success Manager
The Customer Success Manager is an essential role at SBS and is responsible for developing and executing nearly every aspect of customer success. This position will work closely with customers at all stages of their life cycle, from implementation and initial value to renewals and expansions. This includes user onboarding, adoption, training, and support. The Customer Success Manager functions as a trusted advisor and bridges the gap between the solutions SBS is building and the challenges utilities, telecoms, and AEC firms face. Additionally, the CSM will support in scaling our customer success team.
This role reports directly to the Director of Customer Success and is the voice of the customer within SBS, providing feedback from our customers to our product team, ensuring timely issue resolution and value add features.
You Will
- Ensure customer retention through proactive customer touchpoints and demonstrable value of SBS products
- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with SBS customers and the critical infrastructure industry to drive advocacy
- Provide high levels of support via email and virtual meetings to ensure customers have the optimal experience
- Manage the onboarding process for customers to drive adoption and expansion of SBS products and services
- Increase company revenue through identifying and developing opportunities to upsell with customers, e.g. expanding product usage, new product sales/implementation, offering professional services
- Collect customer requirements and feedback to relay to the product and engineering team
- Provide first line application support as required

Requirements
- 4+ years of prior experience in customer facing roles

- Be commercially aware or business minded (sales experience is beneficial)

SBS is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our Shared Services engineering team, the group responsible for developing and operating the cloud-based services and APIs that power SBS products.
Reporting directly to the VP of Software Development, this position is part of the SBS Development Leadership Team, which collectively steers the strategy, standards, and delivery excellence for all SBS software products serving the utility and engineering design industry.
The Software Development Manager will oversee a globally distributed team responsible for building scalable, secure, and observable cloud services while ensuring world-class reliability and flow efficiency. This role combines people leadership, delivery management, and technical direction across DevOps and software engineering practices
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of software developers and DevOps engineers across U.S. and Vietnam locations.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Shared Services team.
- Conduct regular check-ins, career development discussions, and technical coaching.
- Actively participate in the SBS Development Leadership Team, contributing to cross-product planning, governance, and engineering standards.
Delivery Management
- Plan and manage sprint execution and release cadence, ensuring predictable delivery using flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP, flow efficiency).
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architecture and platform sustainability.
- Oversee the delivery of shared platform capabilities (authentication, licensing, content management, integration APIs) that underpin SBS’s cloud and desktop products.
- Manage technical debt reduction and system reliability improvements through continuous delivery and observability.
DevOps & Site Reliability Engineering
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Shared Services through proactive observability and operational excellence.
- Lead the implementation of DevOps and SRE best practices, including CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/Terraform), blue/green deployments, and canary release strategies.
- Drive adoption of monitoring, alerting, and incident management frameworks (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, PagerDuty, etc.).
- Partner with architecture and IT security teams to ensure adherence to SBS’s ISO 27001-aligned ISMS and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Champion automation and measurable reliability goals (MTTR, change failure rate, deployment frequency).
Technical & Architectural Stewardship
- Collaborate with the Shared Services lead to maintain architectural integrity and scalability across cloud SaaS platform.
- Review technical designs for quality, maintainability, and operational readiness.
- Introduce and standardize modern patterns such as event-driven architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), and service observability.
- Ensure cross-product alignment with Design Tools, GTI, and Shared Services teams.
Governance & Reporting
