COURSE TITLE: SDS Remote Training w/Inventor Prerequisite – Physical Design

Course Cost: $8,000 USD

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Remote instructor-led environment consisting of up to 32 hours of training with up to 6 attendees. Schedule for the training is flexible but must be provided in a minimum of 2-hour web training sessions each and completed within sixty calendar days. Students will have access to the SDS Physical Design eLearning site for a one-year term with the option to renew at the end of the term.

The training covers the topics below:

Inventor Topics as required for SDS Physical Design Training

Remote Web Training Sessions 5-8:

Strategic Modeling and Working with Large Assemblies

Remote Web Training Sessions 9-12:

Introduction to Substation Design Suite™ for Inventor, Above Grade Tools and Below Grade Tools for Buried Cable Routing and Flex Cable Routing

Remote Web Training Sessions 13-16:

Advanced Substation Design Suite™ for Inventor, Substation Design Content Editor, Design Checks and Substation Output

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Each student is also required to purchase eLearning training material.

SOFTWARE PREREQUISITES: Autodesk Inventor or Inventor Professional Software and the Substation Design Suite ™ Physical Design plug-in

HARDWARE PREREQUISITES: The SDS Physical Design plug-in requires the same hardware specifications as Autodesk Inventor. Autodesk Inventor hardware specifications are shown at the following webpage:

In addition to the list above, 32 GB of RAM (memory) and a Solid-State disk drive is recommended.

 

COURSE TITLE: SDS Onsite Training w/Inventor Prerequisite – Physical Design

Course Cost: $8,995 USD + travel expenses billed at actuals.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Onsite instructor-led environment consisting of four (4) days of training with up to 8 attendees. Students will have access to the SDS Physical Design eLearning site and material for a one-year term with the option to renew at the end of the term.

Course Cost: $395 USD per unique user for a one-year access term subscription

DESCRIPTION: The eLearning, self-paced web environment training consists of 12 sessions that includes both instruction, lab exercises, and appropriate lab exercise data. A user will have access to the eLearning site for a one-year term with the option to renew at the end of the term.

COURSE TITLE: SDS Remote Project Mentoring – Physical Design

Mentoring Cost: $7,800 USD

DESCRIPTION: SBS Consulting personnel will work collaboratively with customer’s substation design personnel towards the goal of developing an SDS Physical substation design project. SBS will provide up to 40 hours of consulting services over a three (3)-month period toward the establishment of Substation design capabilities. These 40 mentoring hours typically consists of twenty (20) 2-hours sessions conducted twice per week.

PREREQUISITES: Students participating in this training should have taken the Autodesk Inventor Intro to Solid Modeling course and the SDS Physical Design Training.

SOFTWARE PREREQUISITES: Autodesk Inventor or Inventor Professional Software and the Substation Design Suite™ Physical Design plug-in.
