Smallworld Thematic Viewer

Everyone who uses Smallworld 4.0 should have SBS Smallworld Thematic Viewer.

ThematicView 4.0 for Smallworld allows users to easily define how objects are drawn and displayed based on a user-defined theme within version 4.0 of Smallworld GIS. The main interface is designed like the Smallworld Object Control Tab and allows all objects to be displayed in the familiar hierarchical tree structure, grouped by data stores, specific themes, object types, geometries and user-defined styles.

Thematic TreeThis SWAF compliant user interface supports the following capabilities:
  • An easy-to-use toolbar that allows users to create, edit, save and retrieve custom defined themes.
  • An integrated SWAF-compliant user interface that has the look-and-feel of the Smallworld Object Control.
  • Support for three categories of styles: Simple Styles for defining a basic thematic style; Unique Styles which can be set up for a unique combination of attributes; Range styles, which allow the objects to be divided into a range of styles based on attribute values.
  • Support for ad-hoc labeling that can be defined for selected objects with user-defined styles.
  • Macro support to allow for ad-hoc calculated fields to be defined for selected objects.
