Oracle Connector for FME
The FME Oracle Integration Server for Smallworld uses the industry standard Safe Software's FME to support synchronization of attribute, geometric and topological data between GE Smallworld Version Managed Datastore's (VMDS) and Oracle Spatial. Using the FME framework, insert, update and delete transactions from VMDS or Oracle Workspace Manager can be faithfully aligned using the Oracle Integration server. Built using the popular SBS SpatialBiz FME plugin the Oracle Integration Server can synchronize all attribute classes, join relationships, vector geometry types and Smallworld Manifold topologies.Using the FME engine allows the synchronization process to remap and reshape data models within the FME Workbench, leveraging hundreds of transformers, factories and functions to modify data and metadata to meet specific site requirements. The Oracle Integration Server technology is also fully compatible with FME Server so synchronization processes can be deployed through J2EE compatible application servers.
