Greg House
General Manager, Spatial Business Systems, Pty, LtdGreg House leads the Asia-Pacific office which opened in 2007 in Melbourne, Australia to serve the growing client base in the region. Greg is a veteran more than 30 years in the Australian geospatial and utility industries. His experience managing GIS project and support services are from both an internal utility perspective and as an outside service provider.
Greg’s Smallworld experience includes managing dozens of implementation and integration projects in the Asia/Pacific region. Throughout his career he has successfully built and managed multiple teams of GIS technical and management specialists.
Prior to opening Melbourne office Greg worked for Utility Asset Management and was a founder of Utility Spatial Solutions P/L, spatial solutions consulting practices. He joined GeoData Solutions Australia as a Projects Manager in 1998 which was acquired by Smallworld Systems, Inc. and which was later acquired by GE. At GE Smallworld Australia Greg was Professional Services Manager. Greg also worked as a Consulting Manager with TUI (Total Utilities Integrators) after more than 20 years of GIS development at United Energy/SECV, a major Australian utility.
