Spatial Business Systems Featured at GITA Infrastructure Conference
Tampa, Florida. April 21, 2009 – Spatial Business Systems President, Dennis Beck, was a featured speaker at the GITA Infrastructure conference here in Tampa, Florida. Beck’s presentation, “The Spatial Portal, A Next Generation GIS Architecture for Utilities”, was made to a standing-room-only audience at the Tampa Convention Center.
The Spatial Portal architecture is a new approach to the distribution and integration of geospatial data for utilities. It involves interoperability between traditional GIS systems and a spatial data warehouse based on commercially standard relational database management systems.
