Vice President of TechnologyAndy Street has more than 20 years of experience in the GIS marketplace and is a founding partner of Spatial Business Systems. He was also a founding partner in GeoData Solutions, a highly successful, worldwide GIS service provider and application developer. Andy is recognized throughout the GIS industry as one of the most experienced implementers and integrators of object-oriented GIS technologies for the management of critical infrastructure in the utility, telecommunications and government market segments. In this role as SBS as Vice President of Technology, he is responsible for the company’s technical growth and ensuring quality across consulting projects.
Andy is a recognized expert in modeling of critical network infrastructure for many of the world’s largest utility and telecommunications organizations. He has performed more than 75 technical engagements. He is an innovative developer of integrated geospatial solutions in areas including temporal GIS modeling, dynamic data modeling, real-time data integration, spatial data interoperability and spatial data conflation.
Andy’s extensive GIS background includes Senior Technical Manager at GE Network Solutions; Vice President of Technology and co-founder of Geodata Solutions; GIS Technical Consultant at Computer People/ ABB IMPELL; and Technical Consultant at Condor Technology / Hoskins GIS – United Kingdom. As technical mentor, Andy has trained more than 200 GIS development professional.
He earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering at Queen Mary College, London University and M. Sc, Irrigation Engineering degree at Southampton University, England.
